Welcome to Beyond Training

We have outgrown our name. For years, we operated as Bilingual Solutions, which described reasonably well what we delivered, but increasingly poorly what we were actually solving. Because the issue organisations bring to us is rarely a lack of learning.

It is that behaviour does not hold once conditions become even slightly unstable.
People typically know what to do. They have seen the process, discussed the rationale, and often demonstrated the behaviour in structured settings.

And yet, as soon as time pressure increases, ambiguity enters the situation, or priorities begin to compete, behaviour shifts in ways that are entirely predictable, but rarely examined.

What breaks is not understanding. What breaks is the ability of behaviour to be initiated, sustained, adapted, and stabilised under constraint. And that is not a problem that can be addressed by improving content, delivery, or engagement, however well those are executed. It is a problem of how capability is formed and maintained over time.

The name we used suggested that we operate in the space of learning. In practice, our work sits elsewhere.
